Don’t be confused by the variety of intellectual, developmental, neurodivergent, and physical challenges seen in special needs ministry. We don’t need to be experts to provide care and teach about God’s love to someone different from us. Knowing just a bit about challenges will help us adapt, empathize, and see the child of God in each person.
