The church should be a place everyone loves to attend. Transform any space into an enjoyable and comfortable environment for learning about Jesus. Learn ideas to make inclusion programs thrive, and start adding the tools and equipment that help you operate smoothly and safely.

-Provide a quieter, more secure space with a higher volunteer-to-student ratio.

-Select locations with access to playgrounds, restrooms, and drive-up drop-off.

-Make sure doorways and pathways are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs.

-Divide rooms visually into areas for learning, movement, and being calm.

-Arrange for students to join typical activities with or without a buddy.

-Provide fidgets, quiet activities, and noise-blocking ear muffs that help students participate.

-Share helpful tips with peers and leaders on ways to engage and support students.

-Allow students to retreat to a contained space if overwhelmed.
